New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
According to the NFL.com's Dan Parr in his fantasy football wide receiver rankings for the 2026 season, Brown was ranked No. 5 overall.
”If history repeats itself, A.J. Brown will eventually wear out his welcome in New England but not before he goes on an absolute tear to begin his time with his new team,” Parr said. “Drake Maye is going to love throwing to the best receiver he's ever had as a teammate.”
Brown went for 1,003 receiving yards in 2025 as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
He scored seven receiving touchdowns last season, marking his fourth consecutive season with at least seven registered. Brown is expected to see a rise in production in 2026 with the Patriots, making him an elite wide receiver to draft in fantasy football leagues this year.
There is also the tie-in with Patriots quarterback Drake Maye entering his third NFL season and his second year in Josh McDaniels' offense. He should have more command and confidence than ever before, despite already coming off an MVP-caliber 2025 season.
That will only mean good things for Brown in his first year in New England.
