A man from North Carolina is talking about the kinds of people he met during an evening run after experiencing a slight case of body dysmorphia.
While filming the video outside, @codyblanphere said he wasn’t feeling good about his body, so he went for a run to boost his confidence. However, while on the run, he says he encountered three types of people, interactions with whom left him feeling very conflicted. The first person was a homeless woman with “cute” teeth, the second was a large group of bikers, and the third was an Indian man.
@codyblanphere talks about his chaotic evening walk
@codyblanphere, in his TikTok video, notes that while he was on his evening run, he passed a homeless woman who was cheering him, saying, “Raise the roof,” repeatedly. He mentions that she was missing half her teeth and looked “super cute.” Cody then says that later, when he circled around, he saw that the woman had gotten a scooter and had started chasing him. While she was chasing him, Cody notes that she was saying, “I bet that girlfriend likes it real good. I wish I could be that girlfriend.” He then recalls running for his life from the woman who tried to stop him, while also clarifying to her that he was into men. He mentions that the woman heard him say this and shouted, “he likes it in the bu*t,” before apparently heading off into the woods.
Speaking of homeless people, this reality star believes that they live comfortably.
Cody then says he passed a group of bikers, and as he went by past one of them, he allegedly said, “We got a runner.” He explains that shortly after, he sent out a sort of “bat signal,” and thirty bikers arrived. Cody notes that when they showed up, they started talking about him right in front of him, and he could hear everything they said. He mentions they were discussing his appearance, emphasizing his physique, and calling it fake.
While on the topic of bikers, here’s the story of a woman who slammed a Toyota owner whose vehicle was stuck in the pedestrian lane.
Cody says the next person he encountered while walking was a “cute” Indian man who gestured “superb” with his hands while looking at him. Cody notes that this was the best compliment he received that day.
Summing up his experience of being on the run, Cody said it was “both mentally cleansing” but also a bit traumatizing (gesturing with his hands)

Is body dysmorphia related to mental health issues?
NHS UK describes body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), or body dysmorphia, as a mental health condition where an individual fixates on perceived flaws in their appearance, which are often unnoticed by others.
The source notes that anyone of any age can develop body dysmorphic disorder or body dysmorphia, though it is most prevalent among teenagers and young adults. It affects both men and women.
The source also highlights that having BDD does not imply vanity or self-obsession. It can be distressing and significantly affect one’s quality of life.
