Speaking of Cabello, the singer recently debuted a noticeably wispier and more piecey take on her statement bangs at the FIFA World Cup final game, crafted by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos.
“I started by trimming and giving shape to the already grown-out curtain bangs! I wanted to create the new version of curtain bangs, the cloud bangs! Cloud bangs are wispier, airy, see-through, edgy, and hitting the mid of ur eyelids!” Giannetos says in an Instagram post on the look. The longer, more dense curtain bangs are typically known for being more low-maintenance than other styles, with Cloud Bangs offering a cross between seasonal functionality and ease. The stylist aimed to stay true to Cabello’s core hair aesthetic while enhancing it with a little extra edge. He added a few asymmetrical layers with touchable texture to create a “grown version of the butterfly haircut” anchored by an easy middle part and plenty of length.
The breezy Cloud Bangs hairstyle is equal parts undone and intentional, complemented by face-framing layers with minimal weight and bountiful movement. While the summer-ready beauty trend is ideal for combating the effects of humidity, it’s also the perfect transitional hair option to seamlessly carry you into the fall.
