NFL Starter Arrested On Gun Charges

It’s been reported that Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Isaiah Adams is facing serious legal trouble. He was arrested in his home country of Canad. On Sunday, Adams turned himself in to the authorities in Toronto.

Just prior to the start of summer training, the Arizona Cardinals are dealing with unexpected roster distractions. A number of firearm-related criminal charges have been filed against projected starting offensive guard Isaiah Adams. Over the weekend, the 25-year-old athlete turned himself in to police in Toronto, according to an official police report published in the New York Post.

Several drug trafficking and weapons investigations have been conducted in his home country that resulted in his legal situation. An investigation into a massive narcotics bust led local law enforcement officers to search a residence. The athlete’s sister, who faces the same charges, was also found inside the home with illegal restricted weapons.

As a result, Adams is charged with possessing a loaded prohibited firearm without a valid license. A brief statement was also released by the franchise acknowledging the incident, but withholding any further immediate public comments.

It is extremely difficult for an athlete to maintain absolute focus on playbook installations when they are facing looming international legal battles. It was surprising to find out that Isaiah Adams will still report to training camp on Wednesday.After starting eleven games last season for the organization, the second-year blocker remains an extremely valuable member of the offense.
