After showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine's (The Housemaid) new adaptation of Little House on the Prairiedominated the recent Netflix charts — proving the perfect next streaming option for those who had finished Taylor Sheridan's Dutton Ranchon Paramount+ — there's now a new chart topper on the platform. It might have earned some terrible reviews and a career-low score for the iconic comedian on Rotten Tomatoes, but Will Ferrell's first TV comedy as creator, executive producer, and star, The Hawk, is proving hugely popular with audiences. 'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' (2023–2026)

Just yesterday, the third season of this popular spin-off made its way to Netflix, allowing for a perfect weekday binge. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 aired on AMC+ last year and has slowly ambled its way to Netflix, with subscribers now able to watch Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) as they fight hordes of the undead and search for salvation.
Just like the main Walking Dead series, Daryl Dixon might lack some narrative finesse, but it more than makes up for it with pulse-racing action and some impressive horror set pieces. Reedus is perfect yet again as Dixon, showcasing charm and determination with a wonderful slice of emotional vulnerability. He is joined by a stacked cast in this great spin-off of a modern classic.
'Sullivan's Crossing' (2023–Present)

There has already been a lot to watch on Netflix this year, so here's your reminder to catch up on the latest season of this hit seriesthat might've passed you by. Based on the novel series by Virgin River author Robyn Carr, Sullivan’s Crossing follows neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) as she drops everything and moves to Nova Scotia. Among her many new challenges, it is reconnecting with her estranged father, Sully (Scott Patterson), that might prove the most difficult.
The perfect small-town replacement for Gilmore Girls, which recently left Netflix, Sullivan's Crossingis an easy-to-watch option during your hard-working week. Packed with memorable performances, the show stands out for being both emotionally detailed and ultimately feel-good, as well as featuring some gorgeous scenery.
'The Kominsky Method' (2018–2021)

If you're looking for an undiscovered gem lurking in the Netflix catalog, look no further, as you need to binge-watch The Kominsky Method now. Yet another hit from The Big Bang Theory and Momcreator Chuck Lorre, the series follows aging acting coach Sandy Kominsky (Michael Douglas), who turns to coaching in his twilight years and finds a new lease on life.
Prepare for your heart to be warmed and your soul to be stimulated in this critically acclaimed series from the mind of a TV genius. Douglas is superb throughout, and is joined by an excellent performance from the late, great Alan Arkin. During its three-season, 22-episode run between 2018 and 2021, The Kominsky Method was nominated for an impressive 12 Primetime Emmys, although it sadly didn't win any.
