WEST HAVEN — Responders rescued three people stranded in the water at Bradley Rocks on Sunday, fire officials said.
Three districts responded to a boat call off Bradley Point early Sunday afternoon for three people in need of assistance, according to a Facebook post Sunday evening by the West Haven Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 1198.
West Shore Marine 3 arrived at the scene to find one person needing immediate assistance in the water and two people situated on the rocks, the post said.
All three people were quickly brought to shore, the fire crew said, and no injuries were reported.
“A 6-foot tide swing will quickly cut off access to land which more often than not requires assistance from our marine units if not prepared for the incoming tide,” fire officials said in the social media post.
