WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police are searching for suspects after three people were shot in Northeast D.C. overnight.
D.C. police told DC News Now that the shooting happened in the 5000 block of Banks Place NE. There, police located three victims who had been shot.
The victims, two adults and a teen, were conscious and breathing and taken to the hospital.
According to the police report obtained by DC News Now, a group of people was hanging out outside when two vehicles approached. That’s when shots were fired, striking the victims.
Police noted that the third victim was located down the street on 51st Street
Larry Calhoun shared video from the scene, which showed crime scene tape blocking off Banks Place, near 51st Street.
This shooting happened less than an hour after a teenage boy was shot in Northwest, D.C.
The investigation is ongoing.
