2026 3M Open tee times, TV coverage, viewer's guide

Now that the final men's major of the year is over, we’re in home stretch of PGA Tour events heading into the FedEx Cup Playoffs. There are just three regular season events left, beginning with this week's 3M Open, as players scramble for FedEx Cup points and jockeying to get inside the top 70 on the points list and earn a spot into the postseason. A notable exception is the most notable player in this week's field as Scottie Scheffler makes his 3M Open debut, coming off yet another strong finish (but not a win) at a 2026 major.

Along with the World No. 1, TPC Twin Cities is set to play host to recent Genesis Scottish Open victor Tom Kim and defending champ Kurt Kitayama. The latter could become the first pro to go back-to-back at this relatively new PGA Tour event, and he’ll have to best plenty of players on the bubble needing their most impressive golf of the season.

Among those looking to cement a spot in the pivotal top 70 include Jason Day (72), Brian Harman (74), Brandt Snedeker (81) and Tony Finau (83). Mac Meissner, also teeing off this week, is the last golfer in at the moment with 515 points, 16 clear of the next pro up, Johnny Keefer.

It took a final-round 65 at TPC Twin Cities for Kitayama to lock down his second PGA Tour victory a year ago, beating Sam Stevens by a single shot. It was a tournament-record-tying 60 on Saturday that got him into that position in the first place. And he capitalized with birdies over six of the first eight holes in the final round.

This week’s winner will receive a $1.584 million cut of the $8.8 million purse and 500 FedEx Cup points.
