Zendaya had the most satisfying response when a fan asked to marry her at the 'Spider-Man' Mexico premiere

Zendaya and Tom Holland wrapped up their press tour for The Odyssey and resumed promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, traveling to Mexico City for the film’s premiere there. While on the red carpet, the newlyweds posed both together and apart—and Zendaya got an interesting query while doing her own photos.

“Zendaya, will you marry me?” one fan asked. She laughed and playfully replied, “It’s too late!” Watch the moment below:

Holland also referenced their marriage while doing press for The Odyssey. During an interview with Dish podcast, he was asked which person he’d want to take on a trip to Greece.

“I think probably my wife would be pretty good,” he said. “It would be a bit strange if I went, ‘Sorry, babe, I’m gonna take Matt [Damon, their Odyssey co-star] actually.’”

Earlier during The Odyssey press run, Holland went viral when he was asked whether Athena, the character Zendaya plays, loved Odysseus, Damon’s character, romantically. “No, because she’s married to me,” he quipped.

In June, Holland revealed that he and Zendaya secretly tied the knot during his British Vogue interview. He didn’t share when the wedding happened but confirmed their families were there. “That’s all you’ll get on that,” he finished.

He spoke more openly about how much he adores his longtime partner, saying, “Our business can present very stressful situations and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time. We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else. So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
