Love Island USA star Zach Georgiou has been silent on social media since his fourth-place finish in the Season 8 finale, but the actor has finally taken to social media to update fans on what has been going on in his life.
Georgiou shared his video on Instagram, explaining that after 8 months away, he is finally home in Birmingham, England.
The former Islander shared that life has been “So surreal," the last year, explaining how he was previously in Australia and then went straight to Fiji.
As for why he was making the video update, Georgiou shared he wanted to thank fans for their continued love and support. “All the comments, the messages, all the videos, I do see it, and I see all your kind words, and I can't tell you how much that support actually means to me, cos I see it all.”
Georgiou shared that life has been “a bit tough,” so seeing the positivity has made things a bit easier.
Reflecting on his experience in the villa, he shared it was “honestly the best experience,” adding that he made great connections, with one of the most important being his relationship with Kayda Bosse.
“I'm just so excited to just see the world with her now,” he added, before sharing he cannot wait to visit her, see where she lives, meet her family and friends, and share their lives together.
While he has had some negative responses to navigate since leaving the villa, Georgiou explained that the support Kayda has given since leaving “has been incredible; she's been like my rock.”
He also thanked fellow Islanders Bryce and Trinity for their support. “That post the other day was incredible to see she had my back like that; it just shows the bonds we've created in the villa have been so genuine.”
Georgiou concluded his video by asking fans to stay tuned as he and Kayda navigate their journey out in the real world. He explained that he cannot “wait to update fans” on everything that they have planned.
In the comment section, Georgiou's sister shared, "Sooo proud of you and so happy I haven’t got anymore brothers cause I can’t go through this again 🫶🏻🤣."
While Bosse added, "Best summer of my life cause i met you❤️."
