Footage posted online shows several fires burning at the site. Wildberries confirmed the drone attack and said the logistics center had been evacuated.
Veniamin Kondratyev, governor of Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, reported a large-scale drone attack and said 10 people were injured in the strike on the warehouse. Russian authorities said firefighting efforts were ongoing.
Another Wildberries facility was on fire in Nevinnomyssk, where authorities declared a local state of emergency in the affected area. Stavropol Oblast Gov. Vladimir Vladimirov said a helicopter had been deployed to help fight the fire.
According to Astra, the Wildberries sorting center in Nevinnomyssk was on fire.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed overnight strikes on Russian logistics centers in two oblasts, saying the facilities were involved in supplying the Russian military with drone components, navigation equipment and other gear.
On July 20, drones carried out a large-scale attack on Russia’s Moscow Oblast. A warehouse belonging to Wildberries caught fire in Podolsk, while the Yuzhnye Vorota industrial park was hit in Domodedovo.
