Why Heat fans think they just signed LeBron James

The Miami Heat might have just cracked the code.

The NBA always makes for stories, and that isn't going to stop soon. LeBron James, the top remaining player on the free agency market and, of course, arguably the greatest player of all time, now finds himself in the middle of that.

Reports have indicated that James could end up with the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, or Minnesota Timberwolves. As of July 21, James has yet to make a decision.

However, Heat fans think they might've cracked the code.

It's for a pretty bizarre reason, and hey, they might have done so.

The Heat accidentally published a YouTube video titled "LeBron James Introductory Press Conference." The date is set for July 27.

The video has since been deleted, but you can find the link from one Heat fan's social media account.

Of course, this might not mean much. It's common in journalism and sports to have these things prepared. There are 100s of places with James articles ready to go the moment he makes his decision. There are many places in Miami, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Cleveland and other cities prepared to post something saying James chose their team or didn't, and both are already written.

Regardless, seeing it from a team's perspective is a bit hilarious, and perhaps telling.

Maybe we'll find out soon.
