The lineup includes a couple of snazzy golf-themed “eatertainment” venues, two new Stockyards hot spots backed by longtime local hospitality veterans, and two new West 7th District hangs for sports, bar food, cocktails, and shots.

Boatman's Yacht ClubBoatman’s Yacht Club, a dockside-themed bar with a country twist, opened this spring at 310 W. Exchange Ave. in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The concept comes from bar expert Drew Boatman, whose resume also includes Rusty Nickel Icehouse, Bodega, and the nearby Star Café. The two-story corner spot offers a spacious open-air patio out front and boat-inspired furniture inside, along with an upper level “captain’s quarter” bar with captain’s chairs for barstools. Naturally, boat-inspired drinks are big here, like Pier Pressure made with mezcal, tequila, cold-pressed watermelon juice, and Topo Chico, rimmed with lime and tajin; and the Tiki Time made with Captain Morgan spiced rum, orange juice, lime, and orgeat syrup. Boatman’s also serves seafood baskets, po’ boys, and catfish tacos from “The Tackle Box” kitchen Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 pm “until the fish quit bitin’.”
Bronc’s Tack RoomThere are two bars under one roof at this new Fort Worth Stockyards spot that opened in late May. Bronc’s Tack Room resides in the former Pinkie’s clothing store space (111 W. Exchange Ave.), next door to Longhorn Saloon. At street level, Bronc’s is a country-western bar with live music, margaritas, schooners, and a full kitchen serving griddle burgers, beans, and cowboy caviar for lunch and dinner. (A “Leta’s Burger” with American cheese, pickles, and Dijonaise is a nod to iconic Stockyards burger cook Leta Smothermon.) The underground Tack Room caters to the late-night dance crowd with live music and DJ tunes. The concept comes from a hospitality group that includes Sam Wynne, co-founder of Rodeo Goat. Try a “big cube cocktail,” like the W. Exchange Old Fashion, or the Cafecito, made with reposado tequila and Ampersand cold brew coffee; or go more traditional with a $6 mini frozen schooner of draft beer.
The Dirdie BirdieMini golf has leveled up in Fort Worth thanks to the opening of The Dirdie Birdie, an Austin-based indoor miniature golf course with a full restaurant and bar. It’s located 2821 Morton St. in the former Bottled Blonde space. Opened this month, The Dirdie Birdie offers a drink menu developed in partnership with Travis Tober and Daniel Warrilow of Nickel City. Golfers can order cart cans and specialty cocktails from beverage “caddies” right on the 12-hole course or sit in the bar before or after a round. Drinks range from the Mexican Mar-Tee-Ni and the Paloma on the Green (both made with Matthew McConaughey’s Pantalones tequila) to frozens like the Dirdie Magarita, made with orange pekoe tea, and the bourbon-swirled Dirdie Lemonade. A round of mini golf is $18 a person, but playing is not required to stop in for a drink.
Five Iron GolfDesigned for avid golfers and social scene seekers alike, this indoor golf entertainment destination made its Texas debut in the Near Southside, at 824 W. Daggett Ave., in May. Besides offering high-tech golf simulators of more than 300 courses, along with other simulator games like darts, shuffleboard, soccer, foosball, and pool, it has a full-service bar and kitchen. Featured drinks include trendy golf course-inspired cocktails like the Transfusion, made with vodka, grape juice, and ginger beer; or the popular Water Hazard, made with blue lemonade, vodka, and club soda. The lengthy drink menu also includes big batch cocktails by the pitcher, beer buckets and draft pitchers, canned cocktails, premium wines by the bottle or can, and non-alcoholic “mindful” cocktails.
Industry HouseTaking over the former Reservoir space at 1001 Foch St., Industry House, touts itself as the only bar in the West 7th District where live bands take the stage every Friday and Saturday night. Reservoir, which originated with the Funky Lime Hospitality group (the company behind The Whiskey Garden and Koe Wetzel’s Riot Room), opened in 2012 when the nightlife scene in the area was fledgling, at best. Longtime service industry worker Javinn Rucker now takes the reins for his first venture in bar ownership. He says the food program remains under chef Chad Burnett with a full kitchen operating daily until 2 am, and recommends keeping cool with a paleta cocktail.
10x Sports BarA West 7th District space that was once housed the short-lived Fort Worth location of Coyote Ugly followed by Your Mom’s House (3005 Bledsoe St.) is now home to 10x Sports Bar. Opened in late June, in time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the venue resembles a charcoal-painted Craftsman home from the outside with a large covered porch, but inside reveals cocktail tables, booth seating, big screen TVs, pool tables, LED lighting, and multiple bars. Visit for $3 draft beer during daily happy hour from 4-7 pm and pair with bar fare like wings, burgers, and tacos.
