As fan speculation goes into overdrive, we run down the possibilities for when we could see the next trailer for GTA 6.
Ever since GTA 6 was announced in 2022, fans have been analysing every single thing Rockstar say and do to try and figure out when the studio will release the next slice of news.
This has led to some unhinged theories based on GTA Online promos and moon cycles, and while a significant chunk have been inaccurate, there is some evidence of Rockstar hiding teasers in past announcements.
Following the opening of pre-orders last month, the next big question now is when we’ll see the third trailer for GTA 6, ahead of its launch in November.
Is GTA 6 definitely getting another trailer?
In truth, we have no idea. The standard laws of game marketing dictate another trailer to drive up anticipation ahead of launch is inevitable, but in the case of GTA 6 – arguably the most anticipated piece of entertainment in human history – you could argue it doesn’t need any marketing at all to be a juggernaut success.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, however, has discussed marketing plans for the sequel throughout this year, which presumably will involve a new trailer of some fashion.
