CHICAGO (NEXSTAR) – Video from a Chicago Cubs game is sparking a debate about patriotism and freedom of expression.
The clip shows an older Cubs fan confronting a younger man who stayed seated during the national anthem before Sunday’s game against the Twins.
The man yells, “get up,” leans in, then slaps the younger man in the back of the head. The younger fan then stands up as people around them react.
Chicago police told TMZ they are aware of the video, but no police report had been filed yet.
