Viewers watching the World Cup winners ceremony on Sunday night may have noticed a lingering Donald Trump during the team photograph, as his niece pointed out the "pathological" photobombing of the ceremony's crowning moment.
President Trump was in attendance at the New Jersey showpiece, presenting the medals at the ceremony. However, he seemingly attempted to remain amongst the Spanish players for the moment they lifted the iconic trophy, with FIFA President Gianni Infantino seen ushering him away from the podium.
In one post to Twitter/X, Mary L Trump shared a picture of the President with Spain's World Cup celebrations behind using the term "pathological" to describe him. In another post, she labeled ridiculed his actions during the ceremony in an explosive assessment of the incident.

In a video message to her uncle, she said, "This is what happens when you're a total f------g loser who still somehow needs to believe you're a winner. Just because you've inserted yourself into giving the World Cup trophy to the winners, and that would be Spain, you somehow delude yourself into thinking you won and then you won't leave."
"Thankfully, we live in the age of Photoshop, and Spain was able to erase Donald from those victory photographs. Not one of the Spanish players gave a s**t that Donald was there and they just wanted him to leave."
"And to his credit, even though he's a corrupt idiot, [Gianni] Infantino did his best to get Donald out of the frame."
She concluded, "But Donald wasn't going anywhere. Why? Again, because he actually thinks that somehow Spain's victory had something to do with him because losers can only enjoy reflected glory. So pro tip for anybody who's in that situation with Donald again, get a bigger f------ hook."
Meanwhile, Mary Trump claimed the president is growing increasingly "unhinged" and "belligerent" amid what she describes as a deteriorating mental state.
She expressed alarm over her uncle's mental fitness, characterizing the current political environment he faces as a "perfect storm" for his "longstanding, undiagnosed and untreated psychiatric disorders" - conditions she claims her uncle "has lived with for decades.
"As with many illnesses, including psychiatric illnesses, when they're left untreated, they worsen over time," Mary told CNN White House correspondent Jessica Yellin on Big Tent USA on Monday.
The 61-year-old, daughter of Trump's late brother Fred Jr. , has been outspoken about her worries regarding her uncle's declining health for several months.
Last month, she told journalist Steven Beschloss that the president seems to be caught in a "downward spiral.", reports the Irish Star.
Mary, a clinical psychologist by profession, pointed to Trump's multiple cognitive assessments, including how he boasted about his results. She noted that Alzheimer's disease runs in their family and that Trump's father, Fred Sr., battled the condition for nearly a decade.
She also referenced his struggle to remain alert, telling Yellin that "he simply cannot stay awake during the day unless people are talking about him.
"That appears to be the only thing capable of keeping him alert," she said. She also pointed to his impulsivity and physical warning signs, including the swelling in his ankles, bruising on his hands, and his struggles with walking.
"There is so much happening simultaneously that it shouldn't surprise us he's becoming increasingly erratic, belligerent, and violent," Mary concluded.
She further stated that his rhetoric surrounding Iran is "completely unhinged." Yellin herself concurred, adding that Trump appears to harbor a "bloodlust" for Iran that she described as "deeply unnerving."
Trump pledged to "decimate and destroy" Iran if it follows through on threats to assassinate him. In a Truth Social post on Friday, the president wrote, "1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!"

"Orders have already been given, and the U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran - PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!" he added.
Back in January, Mary stated that her uncle's condition appears to be "getting rapidly worse," noting it has only been further compounded by the psychiatric disorders she believes he has that remain undiagnosed and untreated.
"Given his advancing age, clearly there seems to be some indications that he has some cognitive issues, hence all of the cognitive tests he's taking and the MRIs we've heard about but have no specific information about, and just his behavior, the way he speaks, his inability to rein himself in, his inability to stay on topic," she said.
"Oftentimes, it seems that he's not exactly aware of where he is or the audience he's speaking to," she added.
