Support among Trump's most loyal base has experienced a "precipitous drop" in just two months as the conflict continues without resolution, data shows.

According to the survey, 37 percent of self-identified MAGA voters now say the U.S. should continue fighting only if costs don't increase, up from 29 percent in May.

Nearly one in five MAGA supporters now believe America should withdraw from Iran entirely.

A White House insider described the situation as "politically impossible," noting, "The American people just will not support the kind of escalation it would take at this point."

Trump continues dismissing negotiations, telling reporters on Tuesday he'll only talk when Tehran is "ready to meet in a meaningful way."

With three months until midterms focused on cost-of-living issues, Trump faces a political nightmare over the unpopular and expensive war, notes Politico.
