July 23 (UPI) -- The Odyssey and Spider-Man star Tom Holland will read the picture book, Superworm, by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, on the BBC's CBeebies Bedtime Story Friday.
"The story of a heroic, super-stretchy worm, Superworm himself must be saved by his friends after he falls under the spell of the greedy Wizard Lizard," the British broadcaster said in a synopsis of the book.
Holland is the latest Marvel franchise icon to participate in the children's program after Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.
In addition to starring in two of the most eagerly awaited films this summer, Holland also reportedly recently married his longtime love and frequent collaborator Zendaya.
