I'm convinced I recently time-traveled during a lunch trip while exploring the Pickaway County villages of Ashville and South Bloomfield.
What I found: Cherry Street Diner, an adorable greasy spoon.
The intrigue: You can still get all this food and a cup of coffee for under $10!
💭 Alissa's thought bubble: Diner food is almost always reliable, but the vibes keep customers coming back. This place is no exception.
Zoom in: The model train circling the ceiling was decked out for the July Fourth Festival.
- The staff was incredibly friendly, despite abundant sarcastic decor behind the counter.
- The historic signs, wood-panel walls and questionable bathroom towel dispenser were straight out the '70s, despite the diner opening in 1992.
The bottom line: It was excellent.
Stop by: 6am-2pm Monday-Friday, 7am-1pm Saturday-Sunday. 29 Cherry St.
