The Gist

As anyone who has searched for the perfect white T-shirt knows, finding wardrobe basics can prove surprisingly complicated. Doubly so when you have a large chest to contend with. Tank tops prove particularly tricky with DDs, I’ve learned: Whereas my smaller-chested friends throw on skimpy shirts without a second thought, I find myself struggling with straps—or tugging at a strapless bra throughout the day.

Just when I’d thought sleeveless shirts had no place in my summer wardrobe, I discovered the OQQ Tank Tops. Amazingly, the shirts allow me to prance around—bralessly—while feeling supported. Better yet, they’re a mere $10 apiece at Amazon, where they’re sold in convenient packs of three.

The OQQ Tank Tops are sleeveless, solid-color shirts designed to flatter an array of chest sizes. Sold in packs of three, the tank tops feature 1-inch straps, a scoop-neck, and a navel-grazing cut that’s perfect for pairing with high-waisted shorts and summery skirts. Made from fabric with light compression, the tops sculpt the waist and provide ample support for larger chests—without the need for a bra.

The flattering, supportive magic lies in the ultra-stretchy, curve-hugging material: a nylon, polyester, and spandex blend. Thick-yet-breathable, the material feels on-par with that of much pricier pieces I own—and opaque enough to give me peace of mind. Moreover, the shirts feature a subtle vertical ribbing, which creates a flattering, torso-elongating effect.

The tank tops are available in an array of solid colors—from basic blacks, whites, and beiges, to bright magenta and summery cerulean. I own six hues, and intend on snagging more—primarily because my twin sister has stolen at least two.

Incidentally, my sister—who wears an A-cup and has an athletic body vastly different from my own—is equally enamored with my favorite tank-tops, which she called “ridiculously flattering” when she “borrowed” mine.

The shirts have received similarly rave reviews from shoppers at Amazon—hundreds of whom have awarded the tops a perfect five-star rating. One shopper with “deflated” DD breasts called the shirts “absolutely perfect” for their postpartum chest thanks to the compressive, supportive fabric. Similarly, another fan, who has DDDs, said they “definitely don’t need a bra” with the shirt. A final fan swore their “boobs have never looked better” since discovering the flattering basics, adding that the shirt makes their waist look “snatched,” too.

For braless freedom and the most flattering, versatile tank top you’ll ever own, shop the OQQ Tank Tops at Amazon—and consider more supportive styles I’m eyeing, below.
