One of the most fun things you can do with a single-board computer is wire up a touchscreen to it. It solves a lot of problems with very little effort, as you no longer need to fiddle with implementing physical buttons and have more real estate on your device's shell.
The Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 was the official way to get your Pi SBC hooked up to a touchscreen, and now the foundation has revealed a 10-inch variant to go alongside its 7- and 5-inch ones.

It's more than just a bigger screen, though
As announced on the Raspberry Pi website, you can now grab a 10-inch version of the Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2. As you might imagine, it's designed to work flawlessly when hooked up to a Raspberry Pi, so if you're on the hunt for something to make your project truly stand out, this display is a real winner if you're using a Pi at the core.
It's not just a bigger screen, though. Turns out, with all that extra room, there's more space for pixels and finger gestures:
Physical size is not the only upgrade. Our new 10″ display features a higher 1200×1920–pixel resolution, a more generous 85-degree viewing angle, and a touchscreen controller with support for ten-finger touch, up from five-finger touch in the 5-inch and 7-inch variants.
The good news is, you should be able to purchase the 10-inch Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 right now. The bad news is, at the time of writing, the officially recognized US retailers for the 10-inch display are showing a 404 when trying to visit the store page. Hopefully, once websites like Pi Shop realize the product has been announced, you'll be able to pick one up from them.
