New steels, lighter designs and limited editions headline Benchmade’s biggest launches of the year so far.

Benchmade has never been a company that chases trends. Instead, the Oregon knifemaker tends to refine proven platforms, introduce better materials and, occasionally, surprise enthusiasts with a completely new idea.

That’s exactly how the first half of 2026 has unfolded. Over the past several months, we’ve seen the company celebrate its connection to space exploration with a special-edition Triage honoring NASA’s Artemis II mission, reinvent its most iconic EDC knife with the ultra-slim Bugout Vapyr, give the hard-use Adamas the MagnaCut treatment and introduce striking new seasonal colorways for the Shootout OTF.

Together, they tell the story of a brand that’s continuing to evolve its biggest hits while staying true to the premium materials, American manufacturing and practical design that made it an EDC favorite in the first place.

With the year now at its halfway point, we’ve rounded up the most notable Benchmade releases we’ve covered so far in 2026. We’ll continue updating this running report card as new knives arrive, but these are the launches that have defined the brand’s year-to-date.
