Terri Irwin is feeling all the love from her family on her birthday!
On Monday, July 20, the zookeeper, 62, celebrated her birthday alongside her family, and even received some special gifts from her 5-year-old granddaughter Grace, whom daughter Bindi Irwin shares with husband Chandler Powell.
Terri shared a sweet Instagram post with pictures from her birthday celebrations, which included a trip to the movies, a pink and yellow floral cake and a handwritten card from Grace.
The first picture showed Terri holding up her card while Grace smiled next to her and proudly pointed at her creation.
“Dear Bunny I love you. Happy b-day,” Grace wrote in the card, which she signed from herself and her dog Stella.
The card also included an adorable drawing of Terri and an animal.
“Today was a beautiful day. Such a sweet birthday card from Grace and Stella,” Terri captioned her post. “Fabulous flowers, yummy cake, and a fun time at the movies. Ending the day with the perfect pizza party. I am a lucky Bunny. Best birthday ever!💕.”
Last month, the Irwin family posed for a brand-new family photo — and of course, they rocked their signature khaki zoo uniforms.
In a post shared to Instagram in honor of the family’s non-profit organization, Wildlife Warriors, Terri, son Robert, 22, Bindi, 28, Chandler, 29, and Grace smiled for the camera as they were joined by some animal friends.
“Khaki is not just a color, it’s an attitude,” Bindi quipped in the caption of the joint post, which was also shared to the official Wildlife Warriors account.
“Grateful every day to stand alongside my family as Wildlife Warriors doing our best to protect wildlife and wild places,” she wrote alongside the photos, in which she held Occa, the Australia Zoo’s ulphur-crested Cockatoo, while Robert cradled a koala.
“Also swipe to see Occa showing off his crest. Even our darling koala turned to look! The cutest. 💛,” she added, as Terri chimed in underneath the post: “Each of you means the world to me💕.”
The Irwin family has always been candid about just how tight-knit they are. In February, each family member paid tribute to the late patriarch Steve Irwin on what would have been the conservationist’s 64th birthday.
Bindi shared several throwback photos of herself as a child with her parents and her brother, and wrote in her caption, “Happy Birthday, Dad. We miss you so much.”
She added that her daughter “is so proud to tell everyone that Grandpa Crocodile is her guardian angel.”
“Love you. Forever.❤️,” Bindi concluded, as Terri responded in the comments section: “Your dad loved you so much, and was a proud girl dad!”
Robert also shared his own tribute post for his father. “Thank you for being a guiding light and inspiration every day,” he wrote in part alongside a photo of himself sitting on Steve’s lap as a child.
