Spider-Man Brand New Day final trailer: Peter Parker prepares for epic Hulk showdown

The makers of Spider-Man: Brand New Day have released a new trailer that revisits Peter Parker's emotional journey after No Way Home. It also teases an intense showdown between Spider-Man and a furious Hulk ahead of the film's release.

The makers of Spider-Man: Brand New Day have released a brand-new trailer that puts the spotlight on Peter Parker's emotional journey. Revisiting the events of the previous film, the trailer offers a glimpse into the new challenges awaiting Tom Holland's Spider-Man, while teasing an action-packed showdown with the Hulk.

The 2-minute 37-second trailer opens with Peter Parker living a lonely life in New York after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. His girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalan) no longer remember him, leaving Peter to carry the burden of his secret identity alone.

It features several flashbacks from the first three films, revisiting Peter's bond with MJ and Ned and reminding audiences how his journey has led to this point. It also hints at the emotional conflict Peter faces as he almost reveals the truth to MJ, only to stop himself in an attempt to protect her.

However, Peter's personal struggles soon take a backseat as a larger threat emerges. The trailer introduces a dramatic transformation sequence involving Hulk.

Peter asks, "Dr Banner?" Hulk replies, "No Banner, only Hulk!"

The action intensifies as Hulk turns violent and slams Spider-Man into the ground, setting up what appears to be one of the film's biggest confrontations.

The trailer also hints at betrayals, trust issues and the immense responsibility resting on Spider-Man's shoulders as he fights to protect the universe.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colon-Zayas, Jon Bernthal and Michael Mando. Mando reprises his role as Scorpion, while Bernthal joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Punisher.

Based on the Marvel Comics created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the film is produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Rachel O'Connor. Louis D'Esposito and David Cain serve as executive producers.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit cinemas on July 30.
