Selena Gomez is celebrating her 34th birthday in style!
The singer and actress marked the milestone on Wednesday, July 22, with an Instagram post celebrating six years of her initiative, Rare Impact Fund, while continuing her birthday vacation in Bologna, Italy.
“First, I have to thank each of you immensely for your support, kindness and all the bday wishes,” Gomez wrote in the post’s caption. “Every single day I get to create because of all of you. Thank you for always making me the happiest girlie in the world .”
The Only Murders in the Building star was snapped blowing out a birthday candle placed in a dish of tiramisu while standing on a balcony in the two snaps she shared.
“Little me would never believe I’d get to celebrate my birthday alongside six years of the Rare Impact Fund. My heart is so full today,” Gomez said of the mental health initiative. “Watching this community come together to support youth mental health has been the greatest gift, so thank YOU.”
“Thank you for believing in this work and for being part of this journey … I love you guys so much!!!” the Disney alum concluded.
In 2024, Gomez explained to PEOPLE that she created the Rare Impact Fund before creating a single product for her Rare Beauty range, adding that the nonprofit organization is geared towards increasing access to youth mental health services and education all over the globe.
Gomez’s proud partner, Benny Blanco, responded, “I love you,” in the comment section.
Gomez’s post comes after the couple traveled to Bologna to celebrate her birthday earlier in the week.
The pair, who tied the knot in September 2025, were pictured visiting the restaurant Trattoria della Santa in the city the day before Gomez’s birthday in a photo posted on Instagram by owner Riccardo Lelli.
“Thank you so much for eating with us @selenagomez @itsbennyblanco,” Lelli wrote in the caption.
For the outing, the couple sported matching white outfits with Gomez opting for a satin slip dress with a colorful printed bandana and brown oval sunglasses, while Blanco wore a T-shirt and baggy shorts.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Lelli said that Blanco booked a private table for the pair, but when they arrived, they decided to sit outside the restaurant under the Portici di Bologna arches.
“I think they saw that, and they saw how quiet our street is, even though we are in the city center, and they felt comfortable sitting outside because it was a lovely day as well today,” said Lelli, translated by waitress Saria Ahmed. “They were absolutely amazing, very lovely, good-hearted people. They showered us with compliments for the food, for the service, and they were just great clients.”

The couple’s trip to Italy comes after Blanco shared that he “traveled across the Atlantic” by boat to see his wife — who is currently filming Only Murders in the Building in London — due to his “fear of flying.”
“The things we do for love,” Blanco captioned a TikTok video about his mode of transport, soundtracked by Sam Cooke’s “Nothing Can Change This Love.”
