Dolly Parton has been putting her health first, and it looks like she has the perfect home for plenty of rest and relaxation.

Photos obtained by First For Women show an aerial view of the “Jolene” singer’s 63-acre Tennessee compound, which she and late husband Carl Dean reportedly purchased years back for $400,000. Some reports now say it is worth approximately $10 million.

Parton, 80, wrote in her 1994 memoir, Dolly: My Life and Other Unfinished Business, that she and Dean — who died in March 2025 at age 82 — constructed the home from the ground up.

“I had not yet achieved anything that could be considered stardom,” she wrote. “Still, I said to Carl, ‘We’d better buy a big-enough lot so that we can have privacy when the tour buses come by trying to look in.’ He accepted that notion without question, showing that he had faith in my dream too.”

“True to my dreams, the tour buses do come by now, and fans can see the house,” she wrote. “But it is set back far enough from the road that they don’t actually see us.”

Architectural Digest reported that, in 2014, the couple got approval to build a 2,400-square-foot barn to match three other existing barns on the Brentwood property.

The new photos show several bungalow guest houses located near the front of the compound as well as an inground pool and lush greenery surrounding the estate.

The country singer has been on hiatus from performing after announcing in a May Instagram Reel that she is taking care of her health after having issues with kidney stones.

“Thank you for standing by me and showing me so much love and support over the past year,” she captioned the video. “I’ve still got some healing to do, but I am on my way! See you soon. 💖 🦋.”

In the clip, Parton revealed that her Las Vegas residency that was rescheduled for September 2026 was canceled.

However, it was recently announced that a musical about her life is coming to Broadway. Dolly: A True Original Musical is set to begin performances December 7 — and officially open on Parton’s 81st birthday, January 19, 2027 — at the St. James Theatre in New York City.
