Samsung just unveiled new foldables, watches and its lightest flip phone yet

Samsung is back, and the brand just announced a whole host of new products, including a new watch with major upgraded features.

Samsung didn’t just debut the long-awaited Galaxy Watch Ultra2. The brand also released a new foldable phone, as well as the latest iteration of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

With all-day battery life, the Galaxy Watch9 has a lightweight, durable design and offers continuous activity and sleep tracking. It’s also brighter than before and has a much-improved battery life. The new Snapdragon Wear Elite platform gives the Galaxy Watch9 a major boost in speed and efficiency for lag-free, seamless health monitoring.

Both the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra have advanced health-tracking features, including an improved sleep apnea detection feature and a heart health score that keeps track of your cardiovascular health.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is built for high performance, including a battery that Samsung says holds 35% more power than the previous model.

The Trail Run feature helps track elevation, climbing progress and terrain impact, which the brand says reduces injury risk. The integrated Sweat Loss feature lets you know how much water you’ve lost and how quickly you need to rehydrate.

The watch is also built with divers in mind. Later this year, Samsung plans to launch a new Ultra 2 Diving app, which will give users access to advanced diving features, including ascent and descent speed tracking and safe dive limits.

The new Galaxy Fold8 is the perfect starter foldable phone if you want the foldable form factor at a lower price.

When folded, you get a 10:16 cover screen, and when unfolded, it opens up to a 4:3 main display. The display itself has a titanium-based build for added durability.

It also has 3,000 nits of brightness, so it stays bright even on sunny days, and dual 50 MP cameras for everyday photography.

The Ultra is the upgrade you want if you love using foldable phones and prefer them over traditional models.

The latest model has a 200 MP main camera and improved Nightography, which Samsung says delivers better photos in low light. I’ve always been impressed with Samsung’s low-light performance, so I’m excited to see how this plays out.

On the inside, it packs a large battery for all-day performance and multitasking, made even smoother by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, which helps keep the phone running seamlessly without lag or crashes.

It’s also quicker to charge and has a slimmer design than the previous generation.

Flip phones have been all the rage lately, and if you want that classic 2000s experience, Samsung’s latest and greatest might be the one for you.

This model has a more streamlined Flex Window experience, which is the screen you see when you flip your phone closed, with more app integration. There’s also a 50 MP camera, but the real appeal is how easy the phone makes it to take selfies without fully opening it. You can use the outside screen to frame shots, check your look and make the Flex Window feel more personalized before snapping a photo.

It’s also touted as Samsung’s lightest and slimmest flip phone, so it’s a great fit for anyone who wants a smartphone without the heft.
