Loyal Royal Caribbean cruisers now have a narrow window to fast-track their loyalty status. For just 10 days, the cruise line is offering double Cruise Points to Crown & Anchor Society members who book new sailings.
It’s the kind of promotion that doesn’t show up often, and for frequent cruisers working toward Diamond, Diamond Plus, or Pinnacle Club status, it can shave months or years off the climb.
Here’s what to know about Royal Caribbean’s limited-time double points promotion and why it's worth taking advantage of it to book your next cruise.

How Royal Caribbean’s double points offer works
Under normal circumstances, a guest cruising in a standard stateroom earns one Cruise Point per night sailed, while suite guests earn two points per night and solo suite guests earn three points per night. During the double points promotional window, which runs from July 21 – 31, 2026, those nights double for eligible new bookings. That means a seven-day cruise can earn the points value of a 14-day sailing.
The double points offer is valid on new bookings made now through July 31 on sailings departing between Sept. 1, 2026 and April 30, 2027. It can be applied on up to two qualifying cruises, and is available to anyone with a valid Crown & Anchor Society member number, no matter how long it’s been since you last sailed.
Transatlantic and transpacific sailings are excluded from the double points offer, since their length would allow guests to rack up an outsized number of points relative to other itineraries.

Other terms and conditions to note:
- A valid Crown & Anchor Society member number must be entered on the reservation at the time of booking.
- Cruise points are applied once the booking is paid in full, and within 30 days after the sailing ends.
- Points earned through this promotion are not eligible for Points Choice, Royal Caribbean’s newer program that lets members transfer points between the Crown & Anchor Society, Celebrity’s Captain’s Club, and Silversea’s Venetian Society. Submitting a Points Transfer Request will forfeit extra points earned under this offer.
Can Royal Caribbean’s double points offer be combined with other offers?
Royal Caribbean’s double points offer stacks with several other current promotions. Those include BOGO60, Kids Sail Free, and Free 3rd & 4th Guests offers, as well as promotional onboard credit, Next Cruise offers, instant savings, restricted discounts (such as senior, resident, and military rates), Crown & Anchor discounts, and Shareholder Benefits.
It’s not combinable with any offer or promotion besides those, including but not limited to complimentary cruises, employee cruises, casino offers, seminar rates, or travel agent reduced rates. It also doesn’t apply to bookings made under the Best Price Guarantee.
Keep in mind that the offer only applies to new bookings, so you can’t get it applied to an existing booking that sails within the Sept. 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027 window.
Experts say the offer makes it one of the best times to book a Royal Caribbean cruise
“The new Royal Caribbean double points offer hasn’t been out in several years. What it offers clients is a faster way to build their loyalty program status to get extra perks,” said Postcard Travel Planning Co-owner Dennis Post. “We encourage all of our travel advisors during unique promotional specials as good as this to reach out to all of their clients to offer it, as this is a really big perk rarely offered.”
For families who cruise multiple times a year, the points acceleration matters. Higher Crown & Anchor tiers unlock perks like complimentary drinks vouchers and free WiFi — benefits that add up quickly for anyone who books a cruise every year anyway. For anyone sitting close to a tier threshold, double points could be the difference between waiting another year to reach the next status level.

“Anyone that's serious about attaining higher status will likely find great value since you can shoot up the loyalty ladder,” said Matt Hochberg of fan blog Royal Caribbean Blog.
Hochberg also pointed out that someone staying solo in a suite as a newer cruiser could even get to Platinum status with a single week-long sailing or Emerald status on a longer voyage since a solo cruiser staying in suite would get six points per night under the double points offer.
Even if you typically book a standard stateroom, there’s little downside to locking in your next cruise before July 31 to take advantage of the promotion if you were already planning a Royal Caribbean cruise for later this year or into spring 2027. The points offer doesn’t cost extra and stacks with most of the discounts and perks passengers typically get on new bookings.
