RHOA highlights: The group reacts to Shamea & Porsha’s feud during Scotland trip

In the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the group processes Shamea and Porsha’s issues as the trip to Scotland wraps up. Here are the highlights for “Waking the Dead.”

Porsha wants space from Shamea.

After Shamea clashed with Porsha at dinner by bringing up their mothers, Kelli attempts to console her. Shamea says that she understands it wasn’t the best timing, but she had been holding in her feelings for a while. But she’s good on Porsha, and she believes Porsha will never find a friend like her again.

Kelli suggests they forget about what just went down and join the others who are currently partying at a nightclub.

When Shamea and Kelli walk inside the club, Porsha takes this as her cue to leave. She’s still fuming about the accusations Shamea made about her mother and doesn’t feel like it’s a good idea to be around her until she has cooled off.

Meanwhile, some of the others like Angela, Phaedra, and Drew question why Shamea would be so quick to dance in Porsha’s face considering the accusations she just made.

Shamea apologizes to Phaedra.

Porsha fills her sister Lauren in on what took place between her and Shamea. Lauren and Porsha say that Shamea lied about Momma Diane trying to sleep with her father. Porsha alleges that the man barely has any teeth and Shamea’s mother slept with her brother-in-law.

Meanwhile, Shamea and Kelli talk to Cynthia and Phaedra. Shamea apologizes for changing the vibe of the dinner. She claims that Porsha started the tension by making a public comment about Shamea’s mother on Instagram. In the post, Porsha alleged that Shamea’s mother did something “egregious” to Momma Diane.

Phaedra tells Shamea that she went too far by bringing up Porsha’s mother and daughter. In a confessional, Phaedra says that it just seems like Shamea has been the one starting the conflicts.

“Just keeping up friction in this group,” Phaedra says in her confessional.

Pinky shares some insight on Shamea’s mindset.

Porsha talks about her decision to leave the club early while some of the ladies are eating around the bonfire. She tells Pinky that she just felt like she needed to remove herself since she is still upset about the accusations Shamea made about her mom.

She feels like she was getting to a good place with Shamea, and if Shamea wanted to salvage the friendship, she ruined her chances in Scotland.

Pinky admits that Shamea’s energy was hostile from the start and she’s not sure why she came on the trip so confrontational.

The group has dinner on their last night in Scotland to celebrate Phaedra’s birthday. Shamea looks annoyed as Porsha gushes about her friendship with Phaedra. In a confessional, she and Kelli doubt the friendship is genuine.

Should Shamea stop apologizing?

K. Michelle becomes emotional as she discusses her fear of dying. This causes Drew to become emotional as she is still grieving her father. She hasn’t been to his grave, and it’s been two years. After Drew walks away to get herself together, Porsha follows behind for support. Meanwhile, Shamea uses the moment to apologize to Phaedra again. She says she confronted Porsha because her feelings had been festering.

In a green screen interview, Pinky says she wishes Shamea would stop apologizing at this point. She’d rather Shamea just pull Porsha to the side to talk.

When Porsha returns, she has no desire to discuss her status with Shamea. Instead, the group dances as the birthday cake is brought out.
