Stefanos Tsitsipas has set several goals for the remainder of the 2026 season after revealing that he wants to return to the top-50, beat at least one more top-10 player and win an ATP 500 title.
The former world No. 3 has had a turbulent season, exiting the top-50 after the Monte Carlo Masters in April and dropping to No. 85 in the world last week.
But after winning the Gstaad ATP 250 title, Tsitsipas climbed 34 spots to No. 51 and now finds himself just one place outside the top-50 again.
Tsitsipas reveals his goals for the rest of the 2026 season
Fresh off his first title in a year and a half, Tsitsipas outlined several targets he hopes to accomplish before the season ends.
"This year, I want to beat at least three top-10 players. That's one of my goals. Another one is to win an ATP 500 tournament. But probably the first goal will be to get back into the top-50. I really want to get back to that level," the two-time Grand Slam finalist told L'Equipe.
So far this season, the current world No. 51 has two top-10 wins, having defeated Taylor Fritz at the United Cup and Alex de Minaur at the Miami Masters.
Washington could help Tsitsipas return to the top-50
Tsitsipas has accepted a wildcard into next week's ATP 500 tournament in Washington, where he didn't compete last year.
That means the Greek has no ranking points to defend at the event and every point he earns will improve his ranking.
Just a win or two could be enough for Tsitsipas to secure enough points in Washington to get back inside the top-50.
