Daniel Siad, a prominent French modeling scout named more than 1,000 times in the Justice Department’s release of Jeffrey Epstein-related files, was found dead at his home near Paris this week, according to CNN.
An autopsy of the "recruiter" — who arranged for the late sex offender to meet models for more than decade — will determine the cause of death, according to the report.

Siad’s body was found in his home in a Paris suburb, deputy public prosecutor at the Nanterre Judicial Court Marie-Céline Lawrysz told CNN.
CNN reported his death about a month after interviewing him.

"CNN’S Katie Polglase recently interviewed Siad, who said he had no reason to believe two women he had recommended to Epstein – and who had told CNN that Epstein had abused them – had been harmed by him," the report states.
"Even after Epstein’s 2008 conviction on sex crimes, modeling-industry insiders like Said continued seeking business ventures with him, invited him to fashion events, and allowed him to associate with their companies."
Epstein was arrested in 2019, but before he could be brought to trial, he was found dead in his cell at a Manhattan correctional facility, in what was found to be a suicide.
Siad was not facing criminal charges when CNN interviewed him in June, but had been identified in a 2018 DOJ email/EFTA02832001.pdf) as a “recruiter of girls and/or women for J. Epstein.”
He also faced allegations of rape from a woman who claims to have been a former client of his, an allegation Siad denied.
