A reality TV star and social media influencer recently visited Ogdensburg and gave a local business a shout-out to her millions of followers.

OGDENSBURG, New York (WWNY) - A reality TV star and social media influencer recently visited Ogdensburg and gave a local business a shout-out to her millions of followers.

Baylen Dupree-Dooley stars in TLC’s “Baylen Out Loud,” a show that chronicles her life with Tourette syndrome, a neurological disorder that causes involuntary movements and sounds.

In a TikTok post Tuesday, Dupree-Dooley told followers she and her friends were in Ogdensburg, which she described as her hometown. She highlighted JET Nutrition, where she and a friend bought drinks.

JET Nutrition shared the TikTok video on its social media, saying, “Look who stopped in and gave JET a try!!! So grateful for the love and support!”

Business owner Leanne Greene said Baylen visited the store on Saturday. She said an employee texted her a photo of herself with Baylen. She recognized the reality TV star immediately.

“This is super cool,” Green said.

Greene opened the location in April.
