Kentucky has made a second late addition to its running back room with preparation for the fall campaign just on the horizon.
Days ago Kentucky picked up a commitment from JUCO running back Ahmir Smith from Garden City.
Now KSR+ has learned the Wildcats are adding another JUCO running back, this time Jordan Colbert from Fresno City College.
Colbert was a sophomore for the Rams in 2025, rushing 81 times for 602 yards and seven touchdowns with one fumble lost. Early in the season Colbert didn’t get a heavy workload but as his opportunity increased so did his production. He had 12 rushes for 139 yards and three scores against Reedley and then nine carries for 159 yards and two scores against San Francisco in two of Fresno City’s final three games. He had seven catches for 105 yards and a score.
He will have three years of eligibility now that he has transferred to Kentucky.
Colbert attended Fresno (Calif.) San Joaquin as a high school prospect from the Class of 2024.
