Rare Find, the Edinburgh-based independent bottler, has launched a new Collection of three single cask whiskies drawn from Glenglassaugh distillery. The trio explores different cask finishes and will be available through selected Rare Find stockists from July 30, 2026.
The release follows what the company described as "continued momentum" throughout 2026 and growing demand for its single cask bottlings.
Each expression showcases how different finishes shape Glenglassaugh’s coastal Highland spirit, according to the bottler.
The distillery’s character is defined by orchard fruits, honeyed sweetness and a subtle maritime freshness.
The Collection features three cask journeys. These include a first-fill Foursquare rum barrel, a first-fill Madeira octave and a first-fill ruby port octave.
The Glenglassaugh 10-Year-Old was finished for 19 months in a first-fill Foursquare rum barrel. Bottled at 54.6% ABV, the release is limited to 234 bottles.
A Glenglassaugh 9-Year-Old was finished for 11 months in a first-fill Madeira octave. It is bottled at 52.7% ABV, with just 53 bottles available.
The second Glenglassaugh 9-Year-Old spent 11 months in a first-fill ruby port octave. This expression is bottled at 52.2% ABV and limited to 48 bottles.
As with all Rare Find releases, each whisky is bottled at natural cask strength, natural color and without chill filtration.
"Glenglassaugh has such a distinctive spirit style – vibrant, fruit-forward and with a subtle coastal freshness – which makes it incredibly exciting to explore through different cask finishes," said James Zorab, whisky supply manager for Rare Find.
"This Collection is about showing the versatility of that spirit and how carefully selected wood can reveal completely different facets of its character," he added.
"Together, they represent exactly what Rare Find seeks to create – exceptional single casks that offer something distinctive, memorable and genuinely worth discovering."
Glenglassaugh distillery is located on the Moray Firth coast in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery is owned by Brown-Forman, which acquired the site as part of its 2016 purchase of The BenRiach Distillery Company.
