President Donald Trump visited Cobb County on Wednesday afternoon for an event at Wheeler High School promoting his new “Trump Accounts” savings program.
President Trump arrived at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Cobb County aboard Air Force One just before 2:30 p.m.
He will then travel to Wheeler High School, where he is delivering remarks.
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Collins and Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson are expected to join the president at the event.
The visit marked Trump’s second trip to Georgia this year. He previously attended a political rally in Rome in February.
The president’s afternoon visit caused traffic delays in the Cobb County area.
Trump said during the past 18 days, nearly 1.5 billion dollars have been deposited into the Trump accounts.
