A fire that engulfed a play set at a Vancouver playground early Monday morning was “intentionally set,” authorities said.

The fire occurred at Oakbrook Park, near the Oakbrook neighborhood, shortly after 1 a.m., destroying a composite play structure, the city of Vancouver said in a statement. No one was injured.

The city has estimated the cost from the damage at about $100,000.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads “to the identification, arrest and conviction” of the person or persons who set the fire, officials said. Tipsters are asked to call 360-798-6428 and can remains anonymous.
