After Matt Damon’s journey home in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, the 55-year-old actor will now venture into the exciting world of the Daniel duo next. Until just two months ago, there were talks that the actor might be seen next in Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert’s new project. During this time, his involvement in the upcoming project was put into question quite a few times, but the actor had not confirmed anything- that is, up until now.
Now, Matt Damon has provided clarity on his next movie with the Everything Everywhere All at Once filmmaker duo.
Matt Damon on his next with the Daniels
Matt Damon has revealed that Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert of Everything Everywhere All at Once will be directing his next picture. In a recent interview for The Odyssey on Happy Sad Confused, he confirmed his involvement in the new project by the duo, which is currently in development.
“I'm really excited to work with them,” Damon told host Josh Horowitz when asked if he is really adding them to his resume.
He also teased a little about the script when asked about how insane it is going to be this time, considering how offbeat and out-of-the-world the experience of Everything Everywhere All at Once was. The actor just confirmed the speculations while also adding a little extra fuel to an already raging fire.
“It's exactly what you'd hope. And it's not like anything you've seen,” the actor said, building the anticipation for the project further.
Just a moment later, in the Happy Sad Confused interview, he talked about what made him say yes to the script. Damon replied that it was the Daniels and the lovely people that they are with, the kind of things they choose to say that radiate positivity towards the world. The collaboration promises to be something no one would be expecting, as teased by the actor himself.

The Odyssey reactions ring the bells for Oscar
The Odyssey that released on July 17 in theaters, has been enjoying rave reviews from critics and the audience alike. However, on the other hand, there is the ensemble cast of the film that has completely enchanted the viewers with their amazing performances. While the Oscar buzz is strong around several aspects of the film, especially the talent attached. But it is the strongest around Anne Hathaway, who has just moved everyone with her performance as Penelope in the film.
