Police have identified the 52-year-old woman who died after being struck by a car in Somerset County on Wednesday evening.
Radika Eagar of Franklin Township was pronounced dead at the scene, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Police responded to a street near Francis Street in Franklin Township at 8:35 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian, authorities said.
Eagar was crossing Hamilton Street when she was struck by a Toyota Corolla, investigators said.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured, authorities said.
Franklin Township police, the Somerset County Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team and the Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene, officials said.
