The Vomero 18 spent most of 2025 making noise — quietly becoming a $100 million franchise in just 90 days — and Nike keeps feeding the momentum with fresh colorways.

The latest wave brings several new options, but one cuts through the noise by doing the opposite of everything else: the Nike Vomero 18 (Grey Fog/Work Blue) trades spectacle for restraint, and it might be the most wearable version yet.

Cool and coastal

The Vomero line has a long history as Nike’s premium cushioned road runner, and the 18th edition pushed that legacy into lifestyle territory without abandoning its performance roots.

Nike also proved the platform’s versatility by releasing a Gore-Tex edition built for all-weather running, confirming that the Vomero 18 is more than a fair-weather proposition.

The shoe has been an immediate success for Nike, becoming a $100 million dollar franchise within the first quarter after launching.

The new wave of colorways includes a brighter green and white option, a bolder volt-colored release in a nod to classic Nike neons and a brighter gradient-styled version.

But the Grey Fog/Work Blue sits in a different register than most of the shoe’s other options and is far more interesting than a straight black or white build.

Think of it as a summer coastal colorway: cool-toned, easy to read and built to work with almost anything already in your rotation.
