Quincy Avery’s name might not be known to many, but the “quarterback whisperer’s” contribution to the game has been immense. He has trained players like Super Bowl champions. The same Avery now has set his sights on NFL great Tom Brady.
Interestingly, this is not in a coaching sense, but rather at Brady’s life choices. Avery shared his view on the matter on X.
“Imagine you are rich, famous, everyone wants to be next to you,” said Avery, “You can do anything you want in this world. And you decide you wanna cosplay a WWE wrestler at 45 years old.”
This is Avery’s direct jab at Brady on Twitter for his feud with YouTuber and WWE wrestler Logan Paul during Fanatics events and on social media.
This tiff continued during the recent Fanatics Fest event as well. This even escalated to them getting physical with Brady, apparently s******* Paul during a panel they were on together.
Paul responded that Brady resorted to h****** him after he taunted Brady for his loss against him in flag football.
The two again crossed paths during the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, where they were spotted flipping each other off. These acts did not impress Avery one bit.
The feud between Paul and Brady had quite an interesting start. The WWE wrestler talked about his football skills and his high school record. This was subsequently mocked by Brady, and they have been taking shots at each other ever since.
However, everything is not what meets the eye, as many feel there is an ulterior motive behind this public squabble.
Tom Brady in talks to make a career switch to WWE
Tom Brady has been keeping his rivalry going with Logan Paul for quite some time now. This is making everyone believe that maybe Brady is onto something here. After all, the pro wrestling world is known for creating a “kayfabe” feud to create buzz.
Kayfabe in pro wrestling is when staged rivalries are made to look authentic for the public.
As per TMZ, Brady is reported to be in talks with WWE, with the reason being the outlet links Brady’s minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders alongside Ari Emanuel (CEO and Executive Chairman of TKO Holdings).
The same company that owns both WWE and UFC. With them already being partners, this makes it more than a possibility.
There have been many NFL players who have switched to professional wrestling. The likes of Super Bowl champion Steve “Mongo” McMichael, Pat McAfee, and Lex Luger are among the many names who have transitioned into WWE successfully.
Amidst all this chaos, Logan Paul’s brother Jake Paul has also joined the fray. Showing his support for his elder brother, Jake has fired a warning shot at Brady.
“I have one message for Tom,” said Jake, “The Paul brothers are coming for you, and revenge is sweet. Tom, keep your head on a swivel.”
So the stage is set for a future match between the two. The Logan Brothers are ready for battle, and now Brady needs to answer the call.
