ADOR, the HYBE sub-label which manages K-pop group NewJeans, released five videos on the official NewJeans YouTube channel this week featuring current members Hanni, Haerin and Hyein as well as Minji, who is still in discussions with ADOR to return to the group.
Former member Danielle does not appear in the videos; ADOR terminated her exclusive contract in December 2025.
The release consists of four individual member videos and one group video, published under the title "2026 Summer of NewJeans." The videos were published on July 22, coinciding with the fourth anniversary of the group's July 22, 2022, debut. New photos of all four entertainers were also posted to the group's official website and Instagram account.
"The content was created to commemorate NewJeans' fourth debut anniversary," ADOR told The Korea Herald on July 22. The label said updates on the group's future activities would be shared once discussions with the members are concluded. ADOR did not announce new music, a single or any performances, and did not confirm whether the four members shown in the videos reflect a permanent lineup change.
Haerin, Hyein and Hanni have returned to ADOR following court rulings on the group's contract dispute. The Korea Herald reported on July 22 that ADOR's discussions with Minji were still ongoing.
Each of the four solo videos shows a member engaged in a routine activity, such as filling a car with gas, buying ice cream or working on a laptop in a park. All four videos include imagery associated with the group's fandom, which is officially named Bunnies, including stuffed rabbits, origami rabbits and a fictional stand called "The Bunnies Scoop" advertising an item priced at $7.22. Hyein's video shows her drawing the shape of the group's official lightstick.
The fifth video, approximately one minute long, shows the four members meeting in person and ends with a shot of a white rabbit. The video's on-screen text reads, "Did You See The White Furry Animal?"
Credits listed identically on all five videos name Nayeon Kim as creative director and Minjae Kim as director. There are additional credits for style, producing, photography, and local production among others. The credits list an original score composed by J2NA and Youngnam Song, with Song also credited for sound design. No song title or single is credited in connection with the videos.
NewJeans and ADOR had been in a contract dispute since November 2024, when the group's five original members said they were terminating their ADOR contracts. Courts in South Korea subsequently ruled that the members' contracts with ADOR remained valid. ADOR terminated Danielle's contract in December 2025 and has separately filed a lawsuit against Danielle and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.
ADOR has not announced a release date for new music or a schedule for future NewJeans activities.
