Standing at 6 feet 3 with decent speed, Acheampong has the physical traits of a successful centre-back. In addition, he has pretty strong per-90 data for ball progression when compared to his peers. In modern football, a back line is expected to be technically strong and the academy graduate is that prototype. He has a high pass accuracy rate as well as a 98th percentile of successful dribbles per 90 among centre-backs.

His limited minutes have impacted his defensive stats but he still managed to get a solid number of interceptions but the rest aren’t as strong for the past campaign. He did get some crucial experience in European competitions in his debut year with the senior squad.
