Mobile police investigating suspected murder-suicide

Two people were found dead in Mobile Tuesday night in a suspected murder-suicide, according to the Mobile Police Department. The department said officers responded to a shooting at 11:33 p.m. in the 1200 block of Devander Drive. A woman and a man were found dead outside of the residence. Two people were found dead in Mobile Tuesday night in a suspected murder-suicide, according to the Mobile Police Department.

The department said officers responded to a shooting at 11:33 p.m. in the 1200 block of Devander Drive. A woman and a man were found dead outside of the residence.

Officers determined the man shot the woman as she sat in a parked vehicle and then took his own life.

The department said the names of the victim and the man will be released once next of kin are notified.

Mobile police continue to investigate but said no further information will be released at this time.
