Miami Dolphins Discussion: Is Two Enough Edition

We ask Dolphins fans if the team should carry more than two quaterbacks into the season given Willis’ style of play.

The Miami Dolphins are once again entering a rebuilding phase this season. As is typical with most NFL rebuilds, both the coaching staff and the roster have seen significant turnover. A primary move by the new front office was signing Malik Willis as the 2026 starter and releasing Tua Tagovailoa. As we approach the 2026 season, most expect the team to carry only two quarterbacks: Willis and Quinn Ewers. However, given Willis’s physical, mobile playing style—which will likely feature more scrambling and rushing than we saw under Tagovailoa—is a two-quarterback roster sufficient?

So this evenings Phinsider Question Of The Day is:

Considering Malik Willis’ aggressive style of play, should the team prioritize carrying three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster? If so, do you believe the current roster has three capable options, or should the team look to the waiver wire or a trade to secure that third spot?
