Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers was recognized as the No. 60 player in the NFL on Monday, as voted on by the league’s active players.
In response to this news, veteran pass rusher Maxx Crosby said Bowers is a “1 of 1” player.
“I just think [he’s] elite. He’s one of the most talented guys I’ve seen,” Crosby said. “He makes the crazy things look normal all the time.”
“I feel like people forget about the other great things of his game, but he’s a very willing blocker. He doesn’t get enough credit for it because of how great he is at getting open and catching the ball,” Crosby added. “He doesn’t shy away from any type of battle.”
Bowers burst onto the NFL scene as the Raiders’ No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 draft, reeling in 112 catches for 1,194 yards in his debut season — both representing all-time rookie records. With this impressive Year 1 campaign, he debuted at No. 24 in last year’s NFL Top 100 rankings.
This past season, Bowers was limited to just 12 game appearances due to knee injury issues. He still secured 64 catches for 680 yards and a career-high seven touchdown grabs.
The Raiders will begin their 2026 NFL regular-season schedule with a Week 1 matchup against the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 13.
