The Oscar winner said stunt performer Devyn Dalton stepped in during the film’s giant sequence — and he made sure to give credit where it’s due.

Matt Damon’s biceps in “The Odyssey” have been the talk of the town on social media, but according to the actor, he can’t take all the credit for his fit look.

Appearing on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast on Monday, Damon, 55, revealed that a female stunt double stood in his place for one particular scene in Christopher Nolan’s epic fantasy film — the scene “when we did the forced perspective stuff of the Laestrygonians.”

Host Josh Horowitz praised Damon for having “the greatest bicep work” he had ever seen “outside of a [Chris] Hemsworth film.”

That’s when Damon dropped his fun fact.

“My double was a woman, a female stunt performer — who had the greatest arms I’ve ever seen,” he said, referring to stunt double Devyn Dalton.

The Oscar winner, who stars as Odysseus, King of Ithaca, in the film, recalled the first time he met Dalton in a catering tent on the film’s set. He told Horowitz he approached her and hugged her to thank her “for all the work she put in.”

Recently speaking with HuffPost Senior Producer Ellen Lee, Damon called the film “the most ambitious” movie he’s ever been cast in.

“I mean, I’ve never worked that hard on a film … it felt more like an expedition than a movie,” he added.
