One of them is Mecca Amen, who got married to BelléJolie Force during the premiere. Fans also met Mecca’s extroverted dad, Logic Amen, who made quite the impression during the ceremony and reception.

Mecca works for a company that removes waste from and cleans Porta-Potties. Before working in sanitation, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2020, according to his LinkedIn. Matchmaker Paul C. Brunson pointed out that Mecca has a good salary, which the reality star said was supplemented by modeling and catering gigs.
“I actually used to be embarrassed to tell people I was a sanitation worker because it’s not glamorous work,” he said, adding that a woman he was intimate with in the past was worried that Mecca’s work was messing up her pH balance. Going into the wedding, he was worried about not being accepted by his partner.

The show didn’t delve much into Logic’s background, though that hasn’t stopped fans from doing their own research. He’s an assistant principal at Lincoln High School in Tacoma. He’s worked there since 2011, and before then, he worked at Seattle’s Rainier Beach and Garfield high schools.
Logic also creates music as a rapper. He also starred in the 2017 short film Fantasy A Gets Jacked and its 2023 follow-up, Fantasy A Gets a Mattress, both of which are based on Seattle rapper Fantasy A’s memoir. According to his website, Logic is producing shows for 91.3 KBCS radio.

Logic has been involved in a few controversies. He released a song titled “Cancel Christmas,” which made headlines in 2018. Per The Seattle Times, some parents complained about the high school assistant principal because of the song’s lyrics: “Give me a reason just to load up a rifle/ Pull the fire alarm in the lobby of my high school/Leave the halls bloody like a high noon typhoon/ I’m about to cancel Christmas./ I won’t leave a freakin’ witness.”
Logic told the outlet that it was intended to articulate the anger low-income students feel during the holidays. “I don’t understand how someone could say I condone it based on me depicting a story of a person who had a troubled back story — stuff going on in their family — and committing acts of violence,” he told The News Tribune.
“Hip hop music is just one avenue I use to connect with people and drive intellectual discourse,” he explained. “I’m also an author. I published a book in 2016 on Amazon that has short stories they would probably have a problem with too.”
The Tacoma School District determined that the song “falls under artistic expression which is protected speech.” Spokesman Dan Voelpel added, “Anytime anyone’s using language that talks about shooting up a school, clearly we have some concern over that.”
In 2025, Tacoma News Tribune reported that Logic was involved in another controversy. In the days following Charlie Kirk’s death, Logic posted on Facebook that “America has a white male problem.” It was shared on X and went viral, with commenters calling the post “racist” and demanding Logic be fired from his job. The outlet said that Logic later wrote on Facebook that he’d been doxxed, harassed, and called slurs as a result of the post.
