Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Oklahoma City that left a man hospitalized early Wednesday morning after he was struck by gunfire while sleeping.
The Oklahoma City Police Department says officers responded shortly before 3 a.m. to a mobile home near Southeast 83rd Street and Shields Boulevard after reports of a shooting.
Police said the victim was asleep inside his mobile home when someone in a passing vehicle fired multiple shots. One of the bullets struck the man in the leg.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His current condition has not been released.
No arrests have been made, and police have not released any information about a possible suspect.
