A man was shot and killed Wednesday morning in a North Oakland neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded at about 7:30 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 4300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, near the MacArthur BART Station, where they found a man lying on the ground with at least one gunshot wound.

unced the man dead at the scene, authorities said. His name was not released pending notification of his family.
No arrests were announced, and police did not release information about a possible suspect or motive.
