Livvy Dunne couldn't help but take a shot at the Cleveland Guardians after the team posted a comment about Paul Skenes.
In Sunday's matchup against the Guardians and Pittsburgh Pirates at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Skenes was on the bump for the first time since the MLB All-Star Break. With the Pirates leading 1-0 in the third inning and a man on first and third, Guardians star Steven Kwan bunted, scoring a run, while a number of Pittsburgh errors allowed the man on first to advance to third.
Seeing the play develop, the Guardians' social media account posted a clip with the caption, "Job well Dunne," referencing the Pirates ace's partner.

That said, the moment was short-lived for the Guardians, who gave up six runs in the final six innings to lose the game 7-1. Taking her time to respond, the former LSU star crafted the perfect clap back to the team who attempted to stick it to the ace.
"Game was Dunne at 7-1 Pirates," she said simply on social media.
Her response garnered more than 16,000 likes on X and was viewed over 1.9 million times compared to the original post's 1,200 likes.
Fans couldn't contain their pleasure upon seeing Dunne's clapback, with one fan writing, "The Queen of Pittsburgh has spoken! Olivia "Olivia Dunne" Dunne." Another added: "lol I love how savage you are! also, holy ratio Batman!"
A third wrote: "if you come for the queen, you best not miss." Overall, the comments section were filled with a number of fans who were upset that the Guardians lost, taking out their frustration on the former LSU star, while others were backing the 23-year-old.
Following that win over the Guardians, the Pirates traveled to New York to take on the Yankees and the result was the exact opposite of what happened in Cleveland.
In just the first inning, the Pirates gave up four runs and in the first three innings, Pittsburgh allowed eight earned runs. Meanwhile, the Pirates scored five runs during that same span, though those were the only runs of the game for either team.
Skenes' next start is expected to be against the Chicago Cubs when the Pirates return to Pittsburgh.
